FantasyDraftEdge.com had the #5 Overall Pick - our picks in bold
Pick Player FantasyDraftEdge.com Comments
Tomlinson, Ladainian SDC RB No surprise here….
Jackson, Steven STL RB He's our #2 as well
Johnson, Larry KCC RB Too high with all the questions surrounding LJ
Gore, Frank SFO RB About where he's been going, strong pick at 4
Addai, Joseph IND RB Thrilled to get Addai at #5, he's our #3 right now
Bush, Reggie NOS RB After his season last year, this is about right for the emerging superstar
Westbrook, Brian PHI RB If he stays healthy he's clearly this good.
Parker, Willie PIT RB Great speed, he's good for HUGE games at times.
McGahee, Willis BAL RB Should have a good year, but this is too high for him
Maroney, Laurence NEP RB Again, solid back on the rise but perhaps just a bit too high
Alexander, Shaun SEA RB If he stays healthy (unlikely however) he could be a steal at 11
James, Edgerrin ARI RB We are not high on James this season behind a bad offensive line and getting older
Henry, Travis DEN RB If he's actually the featured back in Denver, this is a very good pick at 13
Owens, Terrell DAL WR Very surprised by this pick, the 1st WR - We don't think so, not even close.
Brown, Ronnie MIA RB Solid pick, a bounce back is likely for him.
Johnson, Chad CIN WR Much better WR choice
Manning, Peyton IND QB Always the first QB and righfully so still
Johnson, Rudi CIN RB Steal here, we were hoping he'd keep slipping!
Jones-Drew, Maurice JAC RB Solid RB this late, last RB we would have taken ahead of Steve Smith
Smith, Steve CAR WR Normally we RB, RB but Smith is our #1 WR, can't turn him down, he'll be back after last season!
Portis, Clinton WAS RB Potentially a great pick, but health is a big concern
Holt, Torry STL WR Solid WR although he's getting older and we aren't sure how much that offense has left
Harrison, Marvin IND WR A bit surprised he dropped this far as a WR, he is getting older bu probably the exception to the rule with age it seems
Wayne, Reggie IND WR The "other" Indy WR never too bad an option
Gates, Antonio SDC TE More like a WR than a TE anyway
Driver, Donald GBP WR Perhaps a little high, but with an improving offensive line Favre could have a good year and Driver will benefit
Benson, Cedric CHI RB We had our eye on Benson…strong pick this deep
Williams, Roy DET WR All the potential in the world…..still
Williams, Carnell TBB RB Happy to get a good solid RB in the 3rd round
Palmer, Carson CIN QB If you're going to a QB in the 3rd round this is a great one to get
Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR Best player on the board, 2nd year with Leinart could be big
Jones, Thomas NYJ RB If the Jets have a healthy offensive line Jones could put up some nice numbers in a new situation
Boldin, Anquan ARI WR See Fitzgerald comments…..
Jacobs, Brandon NYG RB A nose for the endzone and plenty of opportunity to be the man
Brees, Drew NOS QB Too high for Brees, fall off likely.  Still a solid QB but no way 3rd round
McAllister, Deuce NOS RB Injuries a worry and he's on our warning list but this late, not bad
Houshmandzadeh, T.J. CIN WR Solid performer as long as he can keep sharing the spotlight with CJ
Lynch, Marshawn BUF RB We really like Lynch, this was a solid pick
Brady, Tom NEP QB Solid QB certainly, next best on the board, last QB worthy of this high
Walker, Javon DEN WR We worry about Cutler which hurts Walker but he's solid
Colston, Marques NOS WR Drop off expected but still very talented
Johnson, Andre HOU WR We trust few guys in Houston
Evans, Lee BUF WR Bills say they are going to open the offense, could benefit Evans
Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB If he finally takes over as the #1 guy we got a great RB here
Bulger, Marc STL QB Big contract, down year?  But, empty numbers still count in FFB
Moss, Randy NEP WR Probably too high for Moss although he'll be better, just too many weapons in NE
Green, Ahman HOU RB Could be a tough year in Houston
Peterson, Adrian MIN RB Is he healthy?  If so we like the Minnesota offensive line
Barber, Marion DAL RB They like him around the goal line
Ward, Hines PIT WR Solid WR, if Big Ben is better Ward will again have good numbers
Burress, Plaxico NYG WR Needs Eli Manning to be better
Lewis, Jamal CLE RB We would have avoided Lewis
Coles, Laveranues NYJ WR If Cleveland had a QB we'd have gone Edwards, but if Pennington is healthy Coles is his guy!
Moss, Santana WAS WR Just have trouble trusting Washington, but they do want to play a high octane offense
Norwood, Jerious ATL RB Someone has to be the offense in Atlanta
Gonzalez, Tony KCC TE Probably too high, he's older, got the big contract, offense down in KC
Bell, Tatum DET RB Unsettled RB situation in Detroit would have us avoid both Lion RBs right now
Brown, Reggie PHI WR We like Reggie Brown, if McNabb stays healthy to throw to him
Branch, Deion SEA WR With the defenses Seattle faces, expect some big games
Clayton, Mark BAL WR He's McNair's favorite WR, they just don't score much
McNabb, Donovan PHI QB If healthy, very solid QB and the 6th round is a good spot for a solid QB
Holmes, Santonio PIT WR He's due to break out
Johnson, Calvin DET WR Would be better if he were signed and in camp at the start
Heap, Todd BAL TE Solid TE who McNair loves at the goal line
Taylor, Fred JAC RB Fighting for playing time, but when healthy (rarely) he's very good
Edwards, Braylon CLE WR Solid pick this late, we just wish he had a QB to throw to him
Taylor, Chester MIN RB If he can stay out of trouble the Minny O-Line is solid
Jackson, Darrell SFO WR We look for another solid offensive year for SF led by Alex Smith to DJ
Winslow, Kellen CLE TE Could have a break out year - but again we worry about the QB or lack thereof in Clev
Jackson, Brandon GBP RB
Shockey, Jeremy NYG TE

Kitna, Jon DET QB
Chambers, Chris MIA WR
Jackson, Vincent SDC WR Look for a possible breakout BIG year from V Jackson
Jones, Julius DAL RB Solid yardage guy, but they don't like him around the goal line
Rivers, Philip SDC QB With QBs starting to slip away we'll get ours next, plenty of quality left
Jordan, Lamont OAK RB Decent RB this late
Betts, Ladell WAS RB Having the back up to Portis is a nice idea
Davis, Vernon SFO TE Another TE that's more like a WR, we like Davis and the SF offense
Bears, Chicago CHI Def They'll drop off this season but still solid, just too early for D
Stallworth, Donte' NEP WR We considered Donte last round, he should have some success in that offense once he adapts

Crumpler, Alge ATL TE Always solid, Harrington will like having him
Galloway, Joey TBB WR The timeless one
Leinart, Matt ARI QB Solid QB, should have a good year in his 2nd season with plenty of weapons

Jennings, Greg GBP WR
Cooley, Chris WAS TE
