We’ve been focused on our mock draft as you’ve been following on Twitter but we wanted to take a few minutes to hit some headlines in the news.

Carson Palmer and Ochocinco getting closer - If these two can bond on and off the field (whatever it takes) that’s good news for the fantasy production of both this season.

Ray Rice, RB, BAL working with starters – The Ravens RB situation will be closely watched in pre-season but it appears the early leader is Rice. But in other news Willis McGahee says his new is fine and he expects to back and ready for the regular season. Like we said – a situation to watch closely.

Jets QB battle to be “fierce” – Looks like expectations are for Sanchez and Clemens to battle this summer. If that holds that’s not a huge endorsement for Sanchez. Frankly, if Sanchez can’t blow away Clemens and win this job he’s not all that. We’ll see.

Vincent Jackson, WR, SD having a strong spring – We like Jackson but off field issues must be a concern but he certainly has the talent to have a huge year.
